Dear TCGA Colleagues,



Version 2012_01_24 of the Firehose stddata package has been uploaded and will
be available in the tcga4yeo tree pending internal mirroring by the DCC.  The
highlights of this run are:

    1)  We now believe redactions & rescissions reflect with 100% accuracy
        the DCC annotations database at the time the data snapshot was taken
        (and thank Martin Ferguson for assistance in that effort).

    2)  This will be the last of the stddata runs that will be mirrored at
        the DCC sans validation.  The February stddata run (and analyses) will
        be validated by QCLive and available to the public through the TCGA
        portal/DAM.

    3)  As with our first January run (stddata__2012_01_10), this run shows
        little change in absolute sample counts from December 2011.
